Before you start at Varndean Sixth Form College you need to complete some Course Start work for each of the subjects you are enrolled on. This would have been discussed with you at the recent New Students’ Day. This work must be completed before your first lessons in September. Course Start work contains subject specific reading and tasks designed to help you make the transition from school to college and prepare you for your first lessons.

For those students who have already applied and accepted a place – Please remember to upload a photo for use as your College ID card. You will have already received an email with instructions and a link to do this. As a student at Varndean Sixth Form College, you must carry your College ID with you at all times in order to keep our community safe.
For those students who have already applied and accepted a place – Once you have received your GCSE results on Thursday 20 August, please use the link already emailed to you to upload the results to your application record. Having this information in advance is key to enabling us to allocate the right member of staff at our enrolment interviews to discuss your final programme of study.
Please note, any course change requests now have to be discussed at your Enrolment Meeting at the end of August.
Information in relation to the Course Costs for the Academic Year 2026/27 will be available in mid August.
