We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our Catering team. You will have effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team, as well as strong attention to detail, essential for maintaining hygiene, safety and presentation standards. The College is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We are looking for a detail oriented and efficient Data and Reporting Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and submission of the Individualised Learner Record (ILR) and other statutory returns, ensuring full compliance with DfE requirements. You will lead on validating the accuracy of student and funding data across MIS and tracking systems, carrying out compliance checks to ensure the College is always audit-ready. 

In addition, you will drive the design and delivery of data dashboards and management reports using ProSolution, Strata, Varndean College’s bespoke Student Tracking System (STS), and Power BI, providing timely, accurate and insightful information to support decision-making. This role provides operational leadership in data accuracy, reporting and compliance.

Hours: 16 hours per week, 4.00 pm – 7.00 pm Mon, Weds, Thurs, Fri and 4.00 pm – 8.00 pm on Tuesdays, 42 weeks per year (term time plus 3 weeks in the academic holidays)

Varndean College is seeking to appoint reliable and experienced Cleaners for evening shifts, Mondays to Fridays. The Cleaning team is part of the Premises Dept and is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and tidy environments for staff and students. Cleaning staff work to standards outlined in the College Cleaning Specification and Floor Maintenance Programme.
