Eight of our incredible students headed to Newcastle last week for the European Youth Parliament UK (EYPUK) national final. After qualifying at the regional round hosted at Bede’s School earlier this year, the event was an intense few days of team building followed by working in committees to propose resolutions to pressing political problems.
Each student was competing individually for a place at one of the European sessions. The results will be announced in the next couple of weeks, so fingers crossed and huge congratulations to our national finalists: Maya Klein, Harry Wright, Ellie King, Ottie Gibson, Omar Mohammed, Ned White, Elizabeth Clark, and Albert Eldridge.
