As part of its Creative Arts Showcase on the evening of June 5th, Varndean College celebrated the outstanding work of its creative arts students by culminating in an awards ceremony to honour the exceptional talent and dedication demonstrated by students throughout their courses. The ceremony recognised achievements spanning creative innovation, technical skill, and artistic vision.
The winners were:
- Rufus Marsh Design Prize for 3D Design: Rhys Griffiths
- Emerging Textiles Artist Award: Georgina Dawson
- Graphic Design Award: Toby Hawes
- Aslan King & Nico Hicks Memorial Award for Fine Art: Freya Hatch and Meadow Ravenhill
- Anne Howard Memorial Award: Jett Vincent
- Young Filmmaker Award: Ben Hernandez
- Best Media Product: Sylvie Thackray
- Best Short Film Award: Constance Groves
- Game Developer of the Year: Evie Bates
- Music Technology Prize: Oscar Clarke
- Sam Paterson Award for Drama and Performing Arts: Alice Burton and Libby Pook
- Distance Danced 2025: Ruby Rayment
