Varndean College student wins ‘Cadet of the Year’ Award
Congratulations to Year 2 Varndean student, William Jeynes (formerly of Oathall Community College), who studies Protective Services, Criminology and Photography.
William, who is a Police Cadet in Mid Sussex, recently gave a presentation to 1500 Sussex police cadets and dignitaries on the subject of ‘Stop and Search’. At the end he was given his ‘Passing Out Award’ for completing his cadet training, but was then presented ‘Cadet of the Year’ award for West Sussex.
Huge congratulations William, who after leaving Varndean this summer, intends to have a career in either the Police force or The Army.
