As well as winning the IOM3’s (Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining) Sir Colin Humphrey’s Education Award back in June, Varndean Chemistry tutor John Luton has added yet another accolade to his name, ‘The 2020 Award for Lifetime Achievement’ one of Pearson’s National Teaching awards.
Pearson’s President, Michael Morpurgo said: “The work you do, day in and day out, is life-enhancing, life-changing. For a child to have a great teacher like you is so important. You open doors, shine a light. You spend your working life passing on to children all that you know and love.”
