We held the first in our series of ‘Spotlight Careers’ events yesterday. The ‘Business and Enterprise Day’ was attended by Year 2 Business Studies students, participating in 4 different workshops; What can I do with a Business Degree?, Business in Action, Personal Statements and CVs and Young Women in Enterprise.
The workshops, provided by The University of Surrey and Albion in the Community, created quite a buzz amongst students and staff in the Business department and were dedicated to immersing students in a day of business, future planning and opportunities.
Next up is ‘Spotlight Careers in Health and Social Care’ during the week of 6 December when we will have visits from social workers, midwives, allied health professions and SEN education.
