Varndean College celebrated 30 Years of Adult Education & Community Learning on Saturday 25 June
Opened by The Mayor of Brighton & Hove, Councillor Lizzie Deane, there were free taster sessions in Herbalism, Drawing Techniques, Lino-printing, Flamenco, Qi Gong, Flower Arranging, Gardening and Tree Planting. Children had fun too, playing giant Jenga and Connect4!
As well as showcasing the achievements of our many learners, the event provided a great opportunity to find out what courses are on offer from September 2022. Staff were on hand to discuss any learning ambitions and to advise on a range of courses from health and well-being, skills for employment or simply for fun and leisure.
