Dickbird, also known as Gus Smith, began making music at the age of sixteen. Gradually developing his sound over the past two years and drawing influence from various genres and artists, he is now working with local MC's and artists to produce music with an alternative and warm sound that blends the line between old school and the modern day. With various production on the way, Dickbird is currently working on his free EP due to drop this summer.
Ex-Varndean Student, Oli Mapp (ORCA) is a Brighton based Chillout producer. As a solo producer working with just a computer, this already established artist has begun making a name for himself in the Downtempo Chillout industry. With a substantial back catalogue Oli is taking leaps and boundearies to get himself out there and innovating the industry. His music is inspired by the likes of Boards of Canada , Tycho , Burial , M83 and Bonobo.
Blueroom is formed of drummer Calum Campbell, lead vocalist Emil Mortensen, lead guitarist Arthur Peters and bass guitarist Misha Ballin. Misha, Emil and Calum all met at College. Quickly realising they shared similar music taste and becoming friends, they decided to form a band. It wasn't long before the trio became a four piece as lead guitarist Arthur Peters joined them. The band are still in their early stages and are ambitious to become a well established alternative indie rock band at a time when guitar based bands are often hard to come by.
